Belfast,
7 November 2011 – Fraser Homes is once again celebrating
the success of Sandown Manor Site Manager, Stephen Orr in the
National House Building Council (NHBC) awards. Stephen, now one
of the three best house builders in Northern Ireland, topped the
NI and Isle of Man multistory builder category for his work on
the Sandown Manor over 55’s apartment complex in East Belfast.
Selected from more than 13,000 UK site managers registered with
NHBC, Stephen will now represent Northern Ireland and the Isle
of Man in the multistory builder category at the final in January.
The NHBC assessed site managers over one year to assess attributes
such as the quality and finish of the new homes.
Stephen said: “I am really delighted to win the regional
multistory builder award. This award recognises the high level
of professionalism and expertise our team delivers and I could
not have won without their support. Fraser Homes is dedicated
to building quality homes and this award provides further reassurance
to purchasers that Sandown Manor is an exceptionally well built
development.”
Fraser
Homes Managing Director, David Fraser said “We are delighted
that Stephen has been presented with the top regional award in
the multistory builder category. This award shows the incredibly
high standard Stephen and his team have developed and maintained
for Sandown Manor. We are very pleased to be able to congratulate
him for winning such an accolade to his work and wish Stephen
well with the final round of the awards in January.”
David Little, NHBC Regional Director for Northern Ireland and
the Isle of Man, said: "Pride in the Job has been instrumental
in raising the build quality of new homes in the UK for over three
decades, with housebuilders now routinely striving for perfection
in their work. A Pride in the Job award at any level marks the
recipient out as a top performer, showing their true diligence
and commitment to producing the best quality homes possible, but
to win a Regional title demonstrates something just that little
bit special."
Sandown Manor, the first over 55s development of its kind in Northern
Ireland, has proven to be very popular. The gated complex comprises
four luxury apartment blocks set in a stunning three acre woodland
estate close to Ballyhackamore. Residents enjoy the benefits of
luxury apartment living and beautiful, mature gardens with the
knowledge that all external maintenance is taken care of by the
Estate Manger. Fraser Homes aims to maximise the security, independence
and privacy of residents as well as developing a community. Picnic
and barbeque areas in the grounds set the scene for socialising,
as does the walking path around the perimeter of the development.
There
are one and two bedroom apartments currently available, some with
outside space. Block One, the most recent phase to be released,
has more than half of the apartments either sold or on deposit.
Prices for one bedroom apartments start at £66,000, while
two bedroom apartment prices start at £144,500. Only two
apartments remain in the Manor House with prices starting at £245,000
for a 2 bedroom apartment.
